Katrina damage at the Charnley site (S.007-S.008A) was extensive. Restoration would be in the millions, if possible, The photos follow a walking tour starting on the west side. The structure was hit with a 30 foot storm surge that rose 8 feet inside the buildings. Nothing but the restored fireplace chimney remained standing on the adjacent Louis Sullivan site (S.005-S.006B)/

All of the above photos are of the Charnley Bungalow, first from the west, walking around the front, then back thru the porch to the west side, then inside the living room facing north, turning around to the south, then the east wall and the east bedroom.

The Charnley Guesthouse was damaged back to the fireplace with the roof collapsing. What remains is the non-Wright addition.
